A Poem on the consequences of an unlimited trade, and the
disbandonment of our army, or the anticipation of what some
patriot bard will probably sing---perhaps in a very few
years after the present peace.
  Scarce had Columbia raised her head
  O'er half-ruin'd Britain--when her virtue fled;
  No longer faith or honour were her boast, 
  Her faith grew dubious, and her honour lost!
